My name is Malgorzata (Margaret) Lisowska and I build innovation and brands.
I’m glad you got here, and I hope you stay for longer. I have created this blog to share my experience, observations, and myself. I also want to share with you my philosophy of life. I will show you my interpretation of combining and developing the potential of right and left hemisphere.

I believe that through the balanced development of the right and left hemispheres we can become better as people and as managers. The left hemisphere is logic and having both feet on the ground. The right one, on the other hand, is a creative space which, unreal, can lead you to unstandardized solutions in order to build your personal brand or the brand of the product or service you manage. I hope that I can inspire you by sharing my knowledge and experience.

My left hemisphere

Since 2011, I have been working as a Brand Architect. I am providing a consultancy in the field of building innovation, product and service brand, as well as a personal brand. Very often I am compared to an external marketing department. I work with large and medium-sized companies and advertising agencies. Also, I do training and workshops on innovation and brand building.

Since 2018 I have been working as an Innovation Architect and I build more than brands.

My main skills: Innovation & brand building, design solutions (Design Thinking, Design For Six Sigma; Lean Six Sigma; User Experience) / build omnichannel strategy / create concepts / define and re-defined marketing strategies / lead the strategic marketing / take full P&L responsibility / launch and re-launch products / lead the team / create and lead communication multichannel campaign / build strong cooperation between sales and marketing departments, marketing department and advertising agencies, strategist and art director in order to deliver required KPIs.

Should you wish to cooperate with me, please contact me.

In 2007, I started my professional career in the managerial program probably the best in Carlsberg Poland, during which I worked in several departments of the company. I got to know the functioning of a company by participating in various cross-departmental projects which taught me a wider perception of the business.
In 2009, I prepared the Kasztelan Niepasteryzowne brand for nationwide expansion and I managed it till it became one of the TOP 10 leading beer brands (value shares) in 2010, in just a few months since its launch. In 2011, I successfully moved the process of re-launching the Frugo brand. Later, I worked as a strategist for an advertising agency. During this work, I decided to set up my own company and work as a freelancer.

In 2011, As the first person in Poland, I defined the competencies of a person managing the brand. In 2012 on this basis I have created the authorial post-graduate program ‘brand architect – we teach to build strong brands, of which I am the manager. On this program, the knowledge is shared by 18 practitioners. There have already been IV editions of the program, which helped to popularize the name ‘brand architect’ in Poland. I am also an academic lecturer.

My right hemisphere

I am the initiator and author of an educational program bizneSztuka (art&business) – we build bridges (bizneSztuka.pl), the purpose of which is the exchange of knowledge and experience between the representatives of the world of art and business. In the course of the program, participants learn to build their careers in an unusual way, taking responsibility for its creation. On this program, the knowledge is shared by 17 practitioners from business and art with 20 young people. The first edition was in May 2016 and it was very successful. You can read my article where I summarized it. The second edition was held in March 2017 and was as successful as the first one.

Leadership in practice

In 2014, I was chosen as a mentee to the Mentoring & Innovation Leadership Program for Polish Women Entrepreneurs by the Vital Voices Poland organization. Thus, I joined the ranks of prominent Polish managers. Vital Voices was founded by Hillary Clinton and Madeleine Albright.

Since 2007, I have been associated with Toastmasters International. Awarded the Leadership Excellence Award twice. In 2014-2015, I served as an Area Governor (District 95, Area J2). My task was to develop and strengthen the organization and competence of Toastmasters Clubs in Warsaw, Lublin and Bialystok. Six out of nine clubs in my Area were awarded the highest performance recognition: President’s Distinguished Club award. During my term, with my team, we built three new clubs.

In 2015, as the seventh person in the country (over 20 years’ existence of the organization in Poland) I gained the title of the Distinguished Toastmaster. It is a certificate of outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Over the years, I contributed notably to the development of the organization in Poland, for which I was awarded the title of Outstanding Toastmaster in 2015.

I like to learn. My friends joke that when I want to master new competence, I sign up for a course, training or graduate school. That’s what it looks like. I completed a lot of training and courses. The most important in my education:

o Master of Economics and Management, Lazarski University, Warsaw, Poland, 2007.
o Erasmus Program (Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Joensuu, Finland), 2005.
o Leonardo Da Vinci Program (Internship in a company specializing in project management in London), 2006.
o Postgraduate studies, Psychology of Advertising at the University of Warsaw, 2009 – 2010.
o Postgraduate studies, Polish and International art market, 2015 – 2016.

o Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, certificate number 80008, confirmation@ www.goforsixsigma.com , Shanghai, China, April 2018.
o China MBA, Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, October 2017 – December 2018.

In my spare time

My passions, in which I invest the most are education, art and travel.
Art that evokes emotions. Education that develops meJourneys, those remote ones and those deep within myself. Always and everywhere. I have been to Mongolia, New Zealand, Cuba, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Kenya and many other countries.
Since 2009, I have a pilot’s license for a paraglider. Record flight 60 km (cross-country flying) in the Julian Alps on the Skywalk Tequila 3 wing. However, the adventure of paragliding did not last the test of time.

With my entire self and every cell of my body individually, above all, I love to create something out of nothing. This is my greatest passion. No matter whether it is art or business. Where my two hemispheres work and cooperate to the fullest, I fulfill completely.
